Mc Cain.... bad doggy

June 10, 2008. Presidential hopeful has a lot of explaining to do. Not for his politics, but for what he did to his first wife. McCain, whom the mainstream media portrays as a descent man - is far from it. In a report by the British paper the Daily Mail, McCain apparently left his wife while she was on her deathbed - for a teenage socialite.

Here's how they report it:

[McCain] was shot down over Hanoi in October 1967 on his 23rd mission over North Vietnam and was badly beaten by an angry mob when he was pulled, half-drowned from a lake.

Over the next five-and-a-half years in the notorious Hoa Loa Prison he was regularly tortured and mistreated.

It was in 1969 that Carol went to spend the Christmas holiday – her third without McCain – at her parents’ home. After dinner, she left to drop off some presents at a friend’s house. It wasn’t until some hours later that she was discovered, alone and in terrible pain, next to the wreckage of her car. She had been hurled through the windscreen.


And after the accident, Carol was reportedly in bad shape - and McCain started playing the field:

When McCain – his hair turned prematurely white and his body reduced to little more than a skeleton – was released in March 1973, he told reporters he was overjoyed to see Carol again.

But friends say privately he was ‘appalled’ by the change in her appearance. At first, though, he was kind, assuring her: ‘I don’t look so good myself. It’s fine.’

‘I thought, of course, we would live happily ever after,’ says Carol. But as a war hero, McCain was moving in ever-more elevated circles.


The he met Cindy McCain - a wealthy teenager whos dad had enough money to finance his political ambitions:

In 1979 – while still married to Carol – he met Cindy at a cocktail party in Hawaii. Over the next six months he pursued her, flying around the country to see her. Then he began to push to end his marriage.


Here's what some of McCain's pals say happened:

They portray the politician as a self-centred womaniser who effectively abandoned his crippled wife to ‘play the field’. They accuse him of finally settling on Cindy, a former rodeo beauty queen, for financial reasons.

McCain was then earning little more than £25,000 a year as a naval officer, while his new father-in-law, Jim Hensley, was a multi-millionaire who had impeccable political connections.


Here's how one of McCain's former friends puts it:

‘This is a guy who makes such a big deal about his character. He has no character. He is a fake. If there was any character in that first marriage, it all belonged to Carol.’

[Queen Latifah] who lives with her fiancée at homes in New Jersey and Los Angeles, is planning an intimate ceremony with close family and friends, say sources.

"Queen is very busy with her career, so she wants to wait to set a date until she has time for a honeymoon," revealed a family insider.

"The two are being very secretive about the upcoming ceremony and have only told immediate family members. Queen is concerned about her career. She knows people's attitude toward gay relationships and marriages are changing, but there is still some resistance, so she wants to keep a low profile."

Africa Day or Mu Bottle ye wa

So London just got their new mayor. A floppy haired upper-class dude by the name of Boris Johnson. Now, i think the only reason he won this election is because the last mayor, Ken Livingstone had become so unpopular. So basically, I think anyone with a high enough profile could have won! Ken was becoming quite a tyrant.

He introduced the congestion charge which now costs £10 DAILY to drive into central london from 7am-7pm Mon-Fri, the 4X4s were to pay £25 (because they damaged the environ). Daily oh. Worst of all it did nothing for congestion and the money earned didnt even go into improving public transport like he promised. Instead he used to create campaign after campaign. Posters, leaftlets everywhere on something new.

But I must say that english elections are nothing like their cousins across the pond. The most 'damaging' thing to come out of this elections was that Mr Ken had 5 children by 3 different women. LOL... shock shock horror horror. LMAO.

Anyway, Mr Johnson put on this Africa Day to mark everything black- nice one i think! Never heard of it before now but it sounded interesting so I put up a facebook event and invited the world.

Im sure we all heard of Munachi Abii, former most beautiful girl in Nigeria, apparently stole Peter of PSquare from his girlfriend.... me i dont know o.... this one pass second-hand gist, she is in the video for Ifunanya which you can catch on Bella Naija's blog. But i bet you didnt know she was trying to pursue a career in rapping! Yes o.... beleive! You can hear her busting a rhyme on the track called PH GIRL.

Back to business, loving this new song by Usher. Its off his new album and i think its hot. The video isnt there, just the song! Meanwhile I heard that Usher has filed for seperation from Tameka. Na waoooooo. Will that be Mariah and Nick in 9 months?





Then there is this clip from a radio show in London. Shocking stuff coming from the lips of a self-hating but albeit BLACK MAN. He has embarrased us all.

I should add though for the benefit of those who dont know, the radio hostess is called Vanessa Feltz, she is about 50, pretty white woman but overweight. She had a very public divorce followed by a breakdown on celebrity Big Brother. She is now dating a younger, black NIGERIAN-BRITISH man who is also a well known UK urban artiste.
